I'm trying to collect as many irritating platitudes as possible.

For example, we have the self-help type:

"Be yourself!"
"Be confident!"
"Think positive!"
"Focus on your strengths."
"Take risks."

Then we have platitudes to provide "comfort":

"Everything happens for a reason."
"Time heals all wounds."
"Life doesn't give you things you can't handle."
"There is some one else worse off than you."
"Happiness is a choice."

...Corporate cliches:

"Shoulder To Shoulder."
"Think Outside The Box."
"Touch base"/"Make sure we have all our bases covered."
"There is no I in Team."
"No pain, no gain."
"We have an empowered workforce" (or just simply "empowerment").
"We'll have to tighten our belt."
"We're like a big family."
"Work-life balance."
"Think win-win."

...Sports cliches:

"This one's in the bag."
"No lead is safe."
"This could be a sleeper team."
"This team is starting to make some noise."
"Give it 110%."
"One step at a time."
"In the zone."
"This one was special."

...The platitudes of politics:

"Government is not the solution. Government is the problem."
"Hope."
"A new kind of politics."
"Politics we can believe in." (Or "change we can believe in").
"Freedom isn't free."
"Children."

Would anybody else care to add to this list? Submissions need not necessarily fit any of the categories provided, and bonus points if you can combine multiple platitudes into a grammatically coherent unit ("This one was special; I was in the zone; I gave it 110%, one step at a time").
