Whats the difference between Political and Economical? I mean do they not behave together? I was getting confused when people where talking about them separately. I have always put them in the same basket in a sense.

A good socialist should. :star2:
Really political is used as a term to talk about who is sitting in government and economic to talk about both the wider economy and individuals' relationship to that economy (usually through their work).
Obviously, capitalists look to distinguish between the two by saying that politics should be confined to elections and thus free elections create political freedom. In the field of economic struggle on the other hand workers fighting against cuts and job losses should not widen their struggle beyond their immediate economic concerns as that would be threatening.
People are moved on a much greater scale by economic problems that effect their own lives than by any political decision (perhaps with the exception of war), therefore creating a clear dividing line between political and economic struggles allows capitalists to justify authoritarian measures in the economic field and also the calls for workers to limit their political actions and consciousness to one day every 4 or 5 years.

Economics and politics, while two different functions, interconnect. The idea that economics and politics is seperate comes from a bourgeoisie concept called, "homo economicus.' Homo Economicus believes that we are all just isolated individuals who act only to fulfill our seperate interest, and govenrment interferes with us as individuals fulfilling those interest because it, in the bourgeoisie worldview, disturbs our isolation.
