"Individualism to disappear from the nation it is a criminal act to think of individuals"

What exactly is Che talking about here? what is the meaning to it? and the context?

Che was probably talking about how he hated all sorts of fake quotes being attributed to him.

There's no evidence that he said it. The quote this is based off of is "Individualism must disappear from Cuba." (Cuba: The First Soviet Satellite in the Americas, 1961, p. 304.) If he actually said it then it'd just mean that the importance of the collective and of society must take center stage. That isn't a new or radical view. If he didn't say it, and there's seemingly no solid evidence that he did, then it's just another quote used to show how scary the commies are.

"The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of thousand is a statistic."

This quote was also not from Stalin, but from Kurt Tucholsky.
