View Full Version : Fox on the "liberal media"

Basically, Sesame Street pushes a liberal and gay agenda. This is a usual accusation by right-wing press about the "mainstream" media, though it is amusing to see him targeting Sesame Street.
3Ypsojc5vFg
Highlights:
-Hollywood is dominated by libruhls
-Sesame Street has a gay agenda because it encourages gender-neutral terms and concepts
-Sesame Street is a part of the ongoing crumbling of the "moral foundation" of 'murica
-"The values of young people today scare me"
-"We're robbing them [children] at earlier and earlier ages of their childhood"
-Amusing part- they reminisce about old TV sitcoms as before the "shift" to liberuhl media, such as I Love Lucy
-"Artists have been more liberal than the general population for centuries"
-Any "big government" regime or Authoritarian/totalitarian regime they have attacked two basic "intermediary" institutions- the family and the church, and that's what happening in our culture right now. And it sets up an appetite for governmental (I don't know what he says after this), government becomes the family - gets cut off by the host Hannity.
-Liberals are soooo sanctimonious- they can circumvent the values of parents in the schools
-Set the values of "redistribution" over basic reading, writing, and math.
-People in Hollywood admits this- Shapiro cites the creator of "Friends"
-Liberals feel guilty about being "wealthy', so they must shock the "bourgeoisie", they "slap us across the face"
-Why don't liberals start charity?
-"Liberals and people on the left, secular humanists"
-"We are rapidly becoming a culture that earning money doesn't entitle you to it, but wanting it does"
I'm actually surprised that they didn't mention "Cultural Marxism" by word once because this is usually what those claiming things about the devious plot by liberals in the schools and media to create socialism- but it's more or less what those claiming "Cultural Marxism" often argue.

Yeah, but Fox has taught us how to lie and dissemble.
I like how the guy argues that conservatives can't get work in Hollywood. Three words: Mel Fucking Gibson.

FAUX news is a reactionary as you can get and the mainstream media is moderate to conservative. Some of it is "Liberal" but none, at least none available on US TV or radio is Leftist. FAUX "news" is nothing but far right wing propaganda.

Christ, it's like they got every right-wing talking point out there and condensed it into one short segment (about Sesame Street, of all things). It's a concentrated dose of reactionary wank material if I've ever seen it.

Modern agriculture may be on the verge of falling off a fucking cliff and this is what we give air time to? The perceived threat of political correctness.
The saddest thing is most of the liberal left in the United States will waste time and money responding to this or making fun of it.
"I can't believe they said that!"
Well duh, it's what they get paid millions of dollars to do. It isn't like journalistic integrity or telling the truth will get you a liberal conspiracy. Center right consensus just doesn't make as good a headline.

Hannity... what a moron. I like how he brings up growing up on Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy.
When Lucille Ball registered to vote in 1936, she listed her party affiliation as Communist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist).[46] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucille_Ball#cite_note-45) (She was registered as a Communist in 1938 as well.)[47] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucille_Ball#cite_note-46) In order to sponsor the Communist Party (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party)'s 1936 candidate for the California State Assembly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_State_Assembly)'s 57th District (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California%27s_57th_State_Assembly_district), Ball signed a certificate stating "I am registered as affiliated with the Communist Party."[48] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucille_Ball#cite_note-47) The same year, she was appointed to the State Central Committee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Committee) of the Communist Party of California, according to records of the California Secretary of State (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secretary_of_state_%28U.S._state_government%29).

This is ridiculous. These right-wing populist nuts are spewing the same filth about "values" and "family" that the National Socialists did in the 1930's.

Exactly. I live in Pennsylvania and unfortunately it seems the US in severe economic crisis is headed for Fascism rather than Leftism. The people don't realise that the "Communism is bad" shit they've been spoonfed since the time of their geat-grandfathers is bullshit and what the exploiter pigs want hurts them just as bad as the people of the races they have been taught to hate.

Is that the same motherfucker that said the smurfs were commies?
First they came for the smurfs and I did nothing because I didn't watch the smurfs.
Then they came for Sesame Street and I did nothing because I didn't watch Sesame Street...
How far is this going to go before they totally destroy the children's cherished memories of their favorite characters?
On a serious note did that guy seriously just blame Sesame Street for the fact that a gay guy was made prom king at some school?

There's a whole documentary about Cultural Marxism.. It was basically made by the old right/Alex Jones 'libertarian' into making people aware of the 'satanic' influences of the Frankfurt school and how their plan is effectively taking over American culture. Somewhere in the documentary they claim that socialists ideas have all failed, then why is this 'cultural Marxism' so successful? It even included their favourite Ron Paul (Ron Paul 2012.. hahaha), which they even included in their trailer even though he only spoke for that small segment that they included in their trailer.

In my humble opinion, I would say that Fox News is a far bigger threat to America than terrorism is.
I'll just leave this here.
