In the Manifesto Against Labour [2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krisis#cite_note-1), Krisis argues against the traditional Marxist notion of class struggle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_struggle) as the motor of history. According to Krisis, there is no class-subject. The struggle between the proletariat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proletariat) and the bourgeoisie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourgeoisie) is not a struggle between a revolutionary class and its oppressor, but rather a struggle between two opposed interests that are integral to capitalism and form a single "labor camp". Contrary to traditional Marxism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marxism), then, Krisis asserts that the struggle against capitalism is not the struggle for the liberation of labor, but rather a struggle for liberation from labor.
Anyone know anything else about Krisis?
They strike me as lame post-marxist rejectors of class struggle, but i'm still interested in seeing a more nuanced opinion

They are Anti-Germans.

From the description, it seems they simply get caught up in semantics, more than anything. I see the point they make about labor and exploiters being mutually inclusive in a capitalist system, though.
"Krisis asserts that the struggle against capitalism is not the struggle for the liberation of labor, but rather a struggle for liberation from labor."
It is true in the sense of being free from forced labor, yes. But what this group seems to not realize is that humans have an innate drive to creative self-expression, aka labor. The essence of marxism, as I see it, is not a goal of having no labor, but of the locus of control of labor being internal rather than external.

while post/neo-marxist/critical theory group krisis (http://www.krisis.org/) rejects the whole anti-german current yet also holds pro-israel positions.
psycho says otherwise, but I have seen them lumped into that grouping before

Okay fair enough its just when I see German's into critical theory and being pro-zionist I automatically think "Anti-German". What are the differences between them and Anti-Germans?
Maybe you would be better off asking about them here....
