Hello all, I've perused RevLeft boards for a while, but just decided to get an account. I hope to network with like-minded people and basically add another comrade's voice to the march to critical mass.

Ideologically, I'm a bit of a mutt, but a pragmatist overall. My worldview definitely has spiritual underpinnings and is focused on manifesting the maximum creative potential of each individual, and the abolition of all forms of tyranny.

I have spent some time on the road, which is what really opened my eyes and radicalized me, putting the passion and a heart behind all my dry theories, animating them with life force and leading them to finally bear fruit in my actions.

I have read a bit of Marx and the rest, enough to where I feel I get the main ideas, yet have much more learning to do. Instead, I prefer reading books of differing political perspectives to challenge what I think. I already know I'll build up some wisdom from this site, as well, and look forward to it.

"Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!"

-Marx

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

-Edmund Burke

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

-Margaret Mead

Welcome!
Marx and Engels passionate intent and the purpose of communism is "manifesting the maximum creative potential of each individual and the abolition of all forms of tyranny," as you put it. Spirituality, to them, was human beings coming together in community with each other (and nature).
Welcome!
