Midnight Special. Around 4.95 for a pouch of .65 oz. Luckies are pretty nice. Gurkha cigars are pretty good. And I had this one La Gloria Cubana, the particular type that I had they don't make anymore, and I don't remember what it was called, but it tasted like fucking coffee, it was glorious. I've been meaning to try dip for a while but I keep forgetting.

EDIT: Got some Grizzly Snuff. Dips pretty nice. You can do it inside without it leaving a smell, and it tastes pretty good.

Solid pipe smoker here (read: chronic). I usually smoke Half and Half, Borkum Riff, Paladin or Prince Albert. I also like Captain Black, Sir Walter Raleigh, Dunhill, Skandinavik. I don't like Carter Hill at all, I will only buy it if I have too. Mainly smoke Half and Half, what I'm smoking now.

Borkum Riff is fairly cheap and it's pretty good.

Pipe smoking is a lot cheaper than cigs, you can buy baccy by the ounce (usually 1.5 oz) and it's cheap. I pay 3 usd for 1.5 oz of Half and Half.

Yeah, that's partially why I smoke pipe tobacco at home as well. The shit's dirt cheap compared to cigs/cigars/smokeless... 1.5 oz would probably last me close to two weeks even if that's all I smoked, I just can't be bothered to carry around all the gear it takes to smoke it everywhere.

The other reason I smoke it is nostalgia... There are basically two things that I remember the most about going to my grandparents' house as a kid. My grandfather collected antique clocks, so one of them was the sound of chimes going off all over the house every hour. The other was the smell of pipe tobacco because that's what he smoked (and what my father smoked when we were visiting as well)... I'd sit for hours as he puffed away on his pipe and told stories (he was a great storyteller as well). He's passed on now, but his brand was Sir Walter Raleigh. So, every time I light that shit up the smell transports me right back to when I was like 6 years old again.

Do you actually smoke Parliaments or do you smoke the Parliament Lights? I never smoked myself but back when I worked at a convenience store people said "Parliament" but meant the lights and would get offended if you grabbed a pack of full flavor or however the fuck you call them.

I enjoy the occassional bowl in my old meerschaum. Mainly tins of what are called "English blends", which usually consist of Virginian, latakia, and "Turkish" tobaccos. Goes great with a decent whisky after a heavy meal of red meat, generally in a room devoid of company (the shit stinks for most people).

If i feel like being careless with money, a quality Churchill-sized Habana will afford me a couple of hours of unrivalled smoking pleasure...

I love Nat Shermans and Dunhills, but I rarely can afford them. $7 a pack isn't sustainable for me. My staples are Turkish Royals, but when I want a bit of a change I will smoke Kamel Reds. I fuckin' hate Marlboro Reds, or Marlboro anythings really. When I'm low on money I get the L&M Turkish Blend, but they are mediocre at best. I don't understand why people like Parliaments. They are more expensive and they don't taste much better than Camels, and the recessed filter weirds me out.

The only cigs I will smoke are camel unfilitereds, delicious but expensive. Sometimes I get them when I'm in the mood but usually once every blue moon. Or I'll get some Cohibas, Garcia y Vegas, La Gloria Cubana, or some other type of cigar. I really like Cubans, Hondurans or Dominicans.

True, but it's actually pretty easy to tell a fake Cuban from a real Cuban because Mexican cigar stores carry only authentic and not fake Cubans.
