what kind of job are you looking for? I know you might say anything but it would probably help if you could be a bit more specific.
it's a shit time to be looking for work in London but it is still possible, whether or not the money you get will cover your living costs though is another matter altogether.

Any job for a inmigrant who speak basically english, but undestand bit more

I know this is the worst time for job in London, a friend say better go to Brighton or South than London.

Last year i stay living in Newham, so i hope find something better this year, like Brent

Thank you very very very much, really

in my experience the living costs in brighton are the same as london but the wages are on the whole lower so I'd recommend london more so.
newham is relatively cheap to live in but I don't know much about brent, I think it varies.
ummm sorry I haven't really got many ideas so hopefully someone else will jump in now and be of more help!

when you are here though if you can pick up a bike for cheap or free and you don't mind cycling busy roads I'd recommend it as it can really cut transport costs (which are pretty high). also if you ever see rail replacement buses jump on them because they never check tickets, oh and you can normally get away without paying for bendy buses if you are sneaky and jump off when an inspector gets on. I say this because paying for trains, buses, tubes takes up a massive amount of your money living here so anyway around it is very helpful.

I think some of the casinos in London may be running training schools. Try the Empire (http://www.thecasinolsq.com/home/) in Leicester Square there's also a new one opened recently the salary and tips are quite good for gaming staff or waiters/waitresses/bar staff/reception it really depends on your previous work experience. If you are only over for a week I would make as many enquiries by phone as possible before you come. Look up large businesses and give them a call or send them an e-mail. You may find that this is actually more successful than handing out C.V.s as most large companies these days process all their applications online.

Check construction sites, cleaning agencies, and pubs. Also if you don't mind working in the middle of the night you should call around the clubs, they regularly need people to go flyposting
