So, this morning i got up at a very abnormal time for me. 7:00 AM(for a while, ive been going to bed near 6:00 AM!).
i slept alright the night before and it was only the second day in a row where i went to bed at a reasonable time of about 10:00 or 11:00 pm.
hell, i even had a dream and it was somewhat vivid too. that i havent had in a long while.

i woke up, make a pot of Cafe Bustelo and got in the shower while it was brewing. got out, grabbed coffee, and made myself a grilled egg and cheese sandwich. surfed the internet for a bit, smoked a cigarette and dressed up for work. I dont know what did it but by the time i got to work at 9:00 i was feeling great. the whole day up until 4:00 PM when i took a slightly excessive nap.

does anyone else get that feeling of just, feeling great when you get up at "normal" hours?

Nowadays I get up at 6.30 everyday to go to work. Most of my life though I have started at 6.00, so it seems like a lie-in to me.

I wake up at 5.30 for my job. I only do it about four months out of the year, though.

i slept at 4pm, i woke up at 3 am... In the midtime i woke up at 8 and asking why people were still home... first time happened to me, it was pretty weird tbh:lol:
will try for more "human" hours of sleep though, but weird shit is everything happens either late night or early morning so i am still not sure if its the best:blink:

Sleeping in makes me lazy, I find. If I get up early I'm so much more productive. My sleeping pattern has gone completely out of the window for my exams though. I've been getting up at 6ish to revise for exams at 9, then having an afternoon nap and revising some more until about midnight. I'm so tired, but last exam today. :)

I've been up since 8am yesterday, and still haven't gone to bed. Long story short, my sleeping hours are probably gonna be screwed up for a bit.

I hate getting up late. If I get up early, I have the whole day to do things that I need to do. The older I get, the worse I think it is to waste days doing fuck all.

i try to get up on time but it never seem to work out, both me and my GF work evening/night shifts...
ah well, at least i always manage to wake myself at 11, spend some time on the computer etc, go an walk the dog around 12.00 . my GF wants to wake up too but she wont be able to crawl out of bed before 13.00 in general.

If I don't have any reason to get up early (i.e when I don't have school) my natural sleep cycle goes about 1/2am to 9/10am. I can keep 'normal' hours but I find it very tricky to get to sleep most nights and have a headache getting up in the morning. I find I feel much better staying up late to work/do whatever and sleeping until I feel rested. My dad is similar, getting up and down at all hours of the night to write and taking a nap during the day if he feels tired.

I read something the other day that said there's a positive correlation between how high your IQ is and how late you stay up at night. In other words, the smarter you are (if in fact you believe an IQ test is a good indicator of intelligence, which is debatable) the more likely you are to be a night owl.

Conclusion: In my teens and 20s I was a genius. Since then, I've gotten dumber and dumber.

I get up at seven or seven thirty to eat some breakfast and leave at what's meant to be 8/8.10 but was 8.20 today, cycle to work for what's meant to be 8.30 but normally late (always late if I know the boss won't be in til eleven or so and I can still sign in for 8.30 and so not fuck my timesheets). work until five, cycle home, have a shower and a cup of tea and I'm now here. fascinating isn't it...

Wake up. Take part in revolution. Sleep. Wake up. See revolution ruined by counter-revolutionaries. Get purged.

I know da kine, I like to wake up 2 hours before work and chill, not shower, smoke a cig and a spliff, have coffee, take my morning BM. BUT if I manage to get a healthy breakfast in there too, THEN I am feeling on top of the world!

I have nothing resembling a routine. I work all kinds of crazy shifts, so sometimes I wake up at 4am, sometimes not until 9pm. Sometimes it feels like I'm in a different world from everyone else. For example, if I finish work at 7 or 8 in the morning then decide to go for a few beers, I tend to get a lot of funny looks when I'm walking home visibly drunk a little while later. I must say I like it though.

Mondays and Wednesdays I have to wake up by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday I have to wake up at 9:00 a.m. Friday and Sunday I have to wake up by 2:30 p.m. And Saturday I could sleep all day if I want. Usually I get up earlier than that though cause I've grown to really hate sleeping and see it as being wasteful and unproductive.

I usually wake up at 6:06 AM, 14 min of stretching, then i take a shower.
once its all done i cook myself a breakfast and a lunch, and watch verry long youtube video (been watching some online course about kapital) for the rest of my free time. i leave my appartement, take the bus and go to work.

i leave my work at 4:30, take the bus, go home, make some supper, and i crash my body on the coach to watch Netflix video or i play some video game.

i got a really boring routine.

I wake up at about 4:00 PM, maybe a little earlier.

Leave for work at 6:30

Work from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Breaks at 1 and 4.

Have eggs and bacon and potatoes and a bagel with red pepper and scallion cream cheese for dinner. Be asleep by 9 AM.

Work from three or four in the morning until around noon and sometimes till later in the afternoon. Use computer somewhere where there's wifi. Go back to apartment after food or booze shopping. Drink. Drunk. Talk to self in bathroom mirror. Listen to music. Go and talk to self some more. Read. Fall asleep.

On a work day I wake up between 5:30 and 6, if it's after 6 the whole routine gets wonky. I check my email, eat some cereal, pet the cat. Around 6:45 my wife gets up and gets the cat into the bedroom and puts up barricades so the ferret can run (he is only allowed in the living room and dining area). I go take my shower at 7, which gets me out by around 7:25. I get dressed, my wife puts the ferret back in his house. I make a cup of coffee and feed the cat, then read for a few minutes while my wife gets ready. A couple minutes before 8, I get my lunch ready, and try to get out before 8:05 (if it's after 8:10 I'll be a few minutes late for work). I drive both of us in, then she drives to her work, unless either of us is doing something after work - about 2 days a week - then we go in separately. I work from 8:30 to 5:30 with an hour lunch, my wife picks me up. We go to the UPS store if we have packages, to the gym if we are exercising, and then home. At home I read, we watch TV, somebody (usually her unless it's just throwing something in the oven) cooks. We go to sleep between 10 and midnight, depending on what we're doing. On Fridays we usually go out to eat.

The weekend routine is much more up in the air. If there's nothing special going on and it's Saturday I go to the Wawa for breakfast. Sundays we go to a diner for breakfast (sometimes we meet up with my wife's parents) then out to one or more grocery stores (depending on where the best deals are).

I hope I don't have to do this shit for another 35 years.

Well sunday, tues & sat I usually get up by 9AM and am in bed by 11PM, I don't work on those days so sometimes later.

Mondays I get up at 8AM, eat breakfast & head off to work at 8:45 to get there for 9. Monday is only my cleaning day so I usually don't have to stay past noon, so I do whatever the rest of the day.

Weds, thurs & fridays I get up about 8, eat breakfast, go online for a couple hours, clean the house, and do general whatever the fuck I want till 2:45PM when I head off to work for 3PM. I get out sometime between 10PM-12AM depends on how busy we are. Go home, shower, eat & bed.
