Lots of stuff put out by the independent publishers has progressive messages in varying degrees but there aren't many explicitly pro-Communist books that I can think of. I read the Tintin one and thought it was rather enjoyable, whether that is because I am a Tintin fan or I am a Communist in the first place, I do not know.

Actually I think you would have much more luck looking for anti-Communist comic books, there were many produced during the Cold War

I suppose if you are in the mood for a giggle you could read Superman: Red Son. It's not a Communist book but it is very very good, definitely one of the best written Supes stories of the last decade.

More of a comic format (anarchist) manifesto than a straight comic (though I highly recommend):

Libcom has lots of other good stuff under http://libcom.org/tags/cartoons

Green Arrow is sometimes written as a socialist, or at lease social democrat, depending on who's writing. Also, Alan Moore's V for Vendetta can easily be considered anarchist. Although stay away from the shocking film of it.

Spain Rodriguez did a "graphic biography" about Che which is well worth a read.

Also, Persepolis is an excelent book. It's about a girl during the Iranian Islamic revolution, living in a communist family. There's a pretty good film about it too.
