Hang on, I'm looking into it more. This is my first time doing this, and I want to make sure that this server won't be lagging my modem when others are playing because I have a minimum data package with my ISP and I can't afford for a minecraft server to be run off my modem. I'll post here again in a few minutes when I know more.

Well, it looks like the joke is on me everybody! Turns out that my minimum data package would not be able to handle the port forwarding required to maintain a server. If anybody with a top data package would like to volunteer to host the server, they can have admin rights of the server. I'll just whisk the folder over to them through email. Any volunteers can post here. Other than that, it may not happen.

The Man had or has a server. Didn't get on it more than a couple times cause most of the time it wasn't online.. Would be cool to start a new server from scratch. We can make various monuments and stuff. :lol:

Most servers have a rules against that and ban anyone who does that. For example I had a friend who was on a server with some other friends and they were building something big and my friend decided to place a bunch of TNT in it and blow it up. He did it and was immediately banned from the server. :/

Not sure. I think it is possible, but probably a bit of a hassle as the game has been updating more often recently.

I think it can be done, through Hamachi (look it up).

Single player on the other side, is a lot easier. Just search on your favorite torrent site.

Yeah there is free version on the website and you get an infinite amount of blocks, but there isn't any challenge to it.
