Even tho i agree that humans have limitations, i think the concept of human nature should be scrapped. Its not logical, based on nothing at all.
Instincts on the Other hand are something real, something that can be demonstrated, its tangible and scientifically sound.
Speaking about human nature is an easy way to ignore the scientifical research that have been done about the behavior and instincts of humans.
what do you think?

I wrote a blog about it earlier today.

It annoys me when I'm debating with someone and they pull out the "Socialism is against human nature" card. There's no such thing. There are biological predispositions, instincts, self interests- no human nature. This isn't ancient Greece- things just don't have a "nature" based on their ideal form. It's bullshit.

Its just damn sad that there are just not enough people looking at the scientifical arguments against and for political regimes.
For exemple a lot of people worldwide are opposed to dictatorship, but nobody seem to be looking for a scientific explanation of why its a bad and failed system.

Very easy to debunk with a little bit of research.

I actually jump in joy when someone pull out that argument.. It just means that they have nothing good to say.
Also the hole "human nature" shit argument rarly works in real debates.

Hasn't game theory replaced, or been added to, the human nature argument in many right wing and libertarian circles?
