dropped my phone in the toilet of a club last night

which is fucking disgusting

had to fish it out too, urrrg

now its broken. any tips to get it working again?

best way to fix it is to lick it clean, like a cat.

What RedAnarchist said. I had a friend who dropped hers in a creek once... I dove down and got and suggested she pull the battery and leave it out until it had dried completely. She left it alone for about 3 days until she was sure it was good and dry, then tried it again and it was fine.

Put it in the bag of rices and leave it alone for a week, the rice absore the moist, albeit this will take time. Do not turn it on at all until you felt it is too dry to be good.

This is true, when in doubt use rice. And of course, take out the battery if you haven't already.

put it in a bad of dry uncooked rice, kitty litter, saw dust, or the little bags of balls that come in shoe boxes. get a ton of those little baggies.

leave it in there for a few days. open it up too.

Take out battery and sim card if using GSM

Carefully blot, let dry in open air.

Use hairdryer on low, and on low heat for a couple of minutes each day for a couple of days.

Wait one extra day. Then battery and simcard in.

Just make sure it's all dry, especially on the inside. Maybe you can open it up to make it dry faster. Then turn it on again.

By the way, fishing your phone out of a club toilet is disgusting. I bet there are 20 STDs on your ear next time you make a call :blink:.
