I've just started watching a video series on youtube which was taken off of TV. It seems to be the usual "blame Stalin for everything" bull crap the media tries to ensue. But I would like to start showing how many of these claims are wrong in lower posts. Watch if your stomachs can take it.

They are using Robert Conquest's figure for deaths as a result of Stalin's rule (ie the highest figure since the opening of the Soviet archive made it easier to get a realistic number), it has lots of caps lock, obligatory bad grammar and says something I don't really understand about India.

Then again, it says Stalin betrayed Lenin.

Can't be sure which way its going on this one. Still not watching. :p

I don't often see capitalists using the term Stalinism...they usually refer to any and all marxists as communists.

I'm no fan of Stalin, but its pretty amusing how the number of people he supposedly murdered fluctuates from 20 million to 120 million, same goes with Mao.

I watched the first 3 parts of the documentary. It's anti-Stalinist. Stars off right straight away telling what a bad person he was. And comparing him to Hitler even in their youths. I didn't detect any anti-Leninism, and it even told how Lenin wanted Stalin removed from his post, when the other high members ignored that warning.

A documentary titled "Stalin the real history", made and shown by mainstream television and using Robert Conquest as a source?

I can't wait to watch this for it's 100% accuracy.

I watched it just to see what the mainstream media had to say. Most of it is like bashing how his "cult of personality" was....seems pretty hypocritical to me...
