hey everyone! i'm a 15 year old girl. a few months ago i started getting interested in marxism/communism and did a little research on the internet. i came across this site and i've become pretty interested in leftist politics, so i decided to sign up. both of my parents are actually communists, and they used to be quite active when they were younger in college, but they've since settled down, although they do occasionally discuss their views. my parents actually don't know i'm a communist. in fact, no one knows except a few of my really close friends, so it'll be nice to be able to discuss these things with someone. anyways, that's basically it (:

I'm an old guy living in Judi Bari country. I really recommend you make her acquaintance, if you haven't already done so. Judi, unlike other deep ecologists and Earth First!ers, saw the need for forest workers and forest protecters to unite against capital, their common enemy.
Judi's important essay, "Revolutionary Ecology," is available on the Internet. She was a special person who united red and green. And Judi was right: human ecology must be modeled after natural ecology.
