Hello there!
Some facts:

I live in Canada, and at the moment, I'm in a very conservative province known as Alberta.
I'm a pinko; maybe a little bit more of a socialist. I'm not as educated as I should be but I'm hoping I'll be learning about the principles of different political theories while I'm here.
I've often wondered where my leftism came from. Certainly not from my mother. Maybe a little bit from my father and my own experiences and views. I like the thought of living in modesty and respect towards one another. I like the thought of farmers gaining the respect they deserve. I dislike individualism because people are too greedy.

My screenname, "greenmail" was chosen out of pure humor. I think it's hilarious, but I'm not even sure if it's illegal...
I like bullet points.
People who get offended by anything/everything are generally really annoying

While I'm here, may I ask if people are generally nice and am I allowed to swear?

Welcome, love the bullet points... love ellipses more...

People are nice, more or less, the more time you are on here the more people will feel comfortable with aggressively disagreeing with you.

You can fucking swear if you god damn want to, as long as those swears aren't misogynistic (i.e. twat, ****) or racist.

Welcome comrade.

Like theredson already said, swearing is allowed as long as the words you use are not sexist or racist.

As for people being nice. Most people here like to joke around, they do tend to get angry though when things get sectarian.

Greeting comrade,
Im also a newbie, and so far this site looks fucking awesome. Im tired of trying to understand what the logic is behind conservatism/imperialism. Glad to find a site where I can expand my leftist knowledge.
Greetings from strathcona

Hey, Greenmail,

Welcome, and thanks for an informative intro. I'm new, too, and appreciated learning of the "swear rule."

My master is Fritjof The Cat, who is now twelve years old. I do not enjoy swimming in capitalism's global lake, which is full of leeches.

I like your open, democratic sensibilities. I hope you will develop them further on revleft and get them into action.

Mr. Natural sends you his red-green best.
