The republicans just can't help alienating themselves more and more, also the democrats cant help them self from tagging along.
If we learned anything these last months it is, republicans are morons, democrats follow the morons, and wisconsin style action wins.
I love this though, Mit Romney does'nt have a chance in hell, I don't even think his money can help.

Rand Paul said the same thing when he was elected. Something along the lines of: "There is no class in the U.S. so taxing the wealthy is like taxing ourselves".

Well, it's a big chunk of American ideology. For many of the middle class and working class, particularly white men, there is the idea that one day they will become rich - not a rational idea by any means, but it's there. And this creates an identification with the rich, and a refusal to tax them - after all, if you become rich, you'll be taxed as well. Of course it objectively harms most of these people to fail to tax the rich. But it's been a driver of right-wing politics for several decades now. This is what Republicans are appealing to.

That was the case overall, (based somewhat on historical fact, pre 1970 the economy was still growing organically), however that concept is dying really really quick.
If you look at polls people are gettin really class conscious really fast.

Right. This one's from the Economist:
Capitalism’s waning fortunes are starkly visible among Americans earning below $20,000. Their support for the free market has dropped from 76% to 44% in just one year. The research was conducted by GlobeScan, a polling firm. Its chairman Doug Miller says American business is “close to losing its social contract” with average families. And the NY Times discussing the same poll data:
Most surprising, capitalism seems to be losing ground even in the land of entrepreneurship — the United States: “In 2002, 80 percent of Americans agreed that the world’s best bet was the free-market system. By 2010 that support had fallen to 59 percent, only a little above the 54 percent average for the 25 countries polled.”
Among Americans, the biggest anti-capitalists are those who make the least. Among people earning less than $20,000, “support for the free market has dropped from 76 percent to 44 percent in just one year.”
But I don't think Romney is counting on the working-poor vote.

The 2nd picture is Caracas, Venezuela. If I remember correctly, the first one is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I can't confirm the third picture, just random google search.

Amazing pictures - I don't know if I've ever seen capitalist inequality so perfectly captured in a photo.

Seriously, you must be moronic, dishonest or deluded to say there are no classes in America.
