Just signed by the governor of that reactionary state.

But we have no problem wasting taxpayer money on the expensive drug screenings? And invading their privacy, trying to shame those who need help, etc...

Actually, unless the law was changed, when I saw a report of this on TV a while ago, they said the people who were forced to take the drug testing had to pay for the drug screening themselves. If they were clean, they would be refunded. If they weren't clean, tough luck.

So it will scare anyone who uses from even applying, they'll get the money and refuse funding to those who get false positives - so they can lower taxes on their rich friends - and meanwhile get the state money for themselves.
