Can anyone recommend to me books on ho chi minh from a marxist perspective? Or at least books which are sympathetic to him and the communist party.

I would be particularly interested in any non bourgeois biographies of Ho Chi Minh

Not exactly the most exciting work.

I read William Duiker's biography of him. It's a good read, includes lots of context, and is sympathetic. It's a useful biography and a decent social history of both Vietnam and the international Communist movement.
