Does anyone think that Capitalism is incompatible with today's information age where it worked more in the 19th/20th centuries? Especially is the internet as it currently exists now is incompatible with Capitalism?

I think it was never compatible. Is just handy for the greedy people in power.
Most probably is just a transitory phase on the way to socialism, as Marx believed. I find it suprising that such an obviously unjust system has lasted so far.

You must be surprised at all of human history then.

Like all socio-economic systems that preceded it, capitalism was revolutionary. Like all preceding economic systems, it is obsolete and has outlived it usefulness for the majority of people.

If you accept that conclusion, how do you propose to end it and what will take its place?

Why? Are you implying that capitalism has existed for all of human history?

Systems come, systems go. Capitalism has long outlived its usefulness. In the opinion of some of us, it's been an obsolete system for a century now. Its longevity I think is somewhat surprising.
