[NoOneIsIllegal]

A local 2-piece drone/doom band that was short-lived (but legendary for how loud* their shows were) just released their first album/demo on cassette and I'm picking it up tomorrow. I may give it to my friend who has a friend who can convert music from cassette tapes to MP3's on his comp, so I can share it on here.


* First show they played only lasted 2(?) songs because his amp was making the entire house shake and everything was fallen off the walls. SO GOOD.

Huge fan of stoner and sludge, when it comes to heavy music it is my bread and butter. I am very partial to Indian and Electric Wizard, Yob, Black Cobra..that kind of stuff. Probably my all time favorite band would be Neurosis, even though I don't think they technically count as sludge or doom. My girlfriend and some friends of mine started a stoner/sludge band even, though we dont play often, kind of a novelty thing for us (two bassists and two drummers). It's too fun to play and listen to. Nothing like getting two basses both hooked up to sunn heads and 15's cranked all the way and just wailing on a riff for thirty minutes or so.
