Hello I'm Pulasthi from Sri lanka I liked this site for a long time and only recently I decided to join this.The country I live in has a rich history of revolutinery politics but currently it has been fallen in to a ruthless semi dictatoral neo liberal regime.I beleive that the leftists should re think about their wrongdoings which they commited in the past and should get to gether in order to face the upcoming challanges.I write this in an hour which thousends of workers in the Free trade zones have come out to the streets against the proposed IMF sponsored pension scheme of the government.After a long time finally the workers have begun to understand that the ruling elite will do nothing for them.I think this is enough as an introductory note.I should say as english is not my mother tongue I would not always be able to express my every thought in the most accurate manner but I'll try my best.Studies I hadvedone on marxism - I only have followed texts in my mother language.But I will try to cope up with the language issue
