I don't think I've ever had air conditioning. So I open the windows.

Air conditioning. I love to use a bunch of electricity with a huge, rattling box that constantly sounds like a dragon snoring. But the best part is the water dripping everywhere. FUCK YEAH

If anyone writes Air Condition, cross me off that 'friends' list in your notebook. I know you have one.
Even better than opening the windows is going outside, by the way. Fresh air is probably one of my favorite things to experience, out of all the things there are that I have experienced.

could never afford air conditioning. i'm sure its lovely and all, but fucking hell haha. i just open a couple of windows, its hot as hell at the moment and opening the window does fuck all really, but i can't imagine how expensive it'd be to get a home kitted out with air con. i've only ever seen it in classy offices and in cars.

Air conditioning, because I live in Florida, and opening the windows in the middle of the summer wouldn't do much. I usually leave it off during the early spring and during the fall.

Open windows really bug me for some reason. I guess I don't like the noises I hear through them. I live in the country and there are scarcely cars, but I don't like to hear wind or anything. Crickets are okay, but I really feel a bit unsafe having my windows open.
And I hate open windows in the car especially, because it interferes with my music listening.

depends on circumstance. if there is no breeze and its over 100 then AC but other than that i prefer to open the windows and run a fan. Its pretty much a necessity to have my window open since im in a small room with a computer. only problem is, my family looooooves the ac. they dont overuse it though. which is nice.
probably the best routine is windows open at night and until maybe 10:00 am.
AC all day erryday. I live in the asshole of South Texas, and it is regularly over 90 degrees, often going into the 100's. I sweat a lot, too, so that doesn't help.
Plus, I don't like the noises outside.

AC is too energy intensive on most cars, and most places you don't really need it in the Summer because you're probably driving at a relatively fast speed, and a window cracked should do the job.
If not, sucks for you because if I get too hot, I just hit the beach. HELL YEAH!!!!

oh in the car?
usually i turn it on after a few minutes of driving to make my steering wheel less like a hot plate and then after the car is cooled i open my windows and turn town my AC so i can smoke.

I open the windows when I drive. Who the hell gets a car new enough to have air conditioning when they pass their driving test? If I can't hear my music, I just turn it up. So I guess if you ever see a car driving past with obnoxiously loud ska drifting out of the window, it's probably me.

In Michigan it gets hot as hell here and I hate the heat so when it gets over 75 F I need air conditioning.

I open the windows of the apartments I've had and I open the windows of my car. I however like air conditioned libraries. When it's in the high 80's by 11am just walking into the library with the soft sound of the AC and the big windows yielding the silent stuff going on outside with the slight shimmer of heat and brightness I just absolutely fall asleep.

 Michigan?! Try living in Atlanta! Five hours from the ocean, humidity never below 85%, summer temperature never below 90F. Opening the windows just isn't going to do anything except turn the inside of your car into a swimming pool full of semi-condensed water-vapor that's so thick it could choke a grizzly. AND THE SMOG! God I hate this city.

Hey it isn't exactly low humidity here either, the Great Lakes surround Michigan you know! Throughout the day it's like 70% humidity. The smog would be a problem if I lived in Detroit but I live in Metro Detroit. :P And why don't you move then?

i don't have air conditioning in my car, and having the windows down gives me that sweet tan where one arm is brown/red and the other is pasty white. so cool

Open the windows. My mom won't open them on the freeway but there's a way to open them on the freeway without killing your ears, and it is glorious. So much more glorious and free than airconditioning could ever be.
