Same here. It's like a viral video in real life, where something from the Internet that spread quickly online has somehow managed to escape the confines of the World Wide Web and quickly spread it's pointless tentacles across the world.

Yes, and make sure you fill the tub with water and put some weights on your back.

As I understand it he tried to plank on the railing of the balcony, as in planking along the horizontal axis of the railing. Would have been a pretty good picture if it worked to be honest...

'Planking' is an aussie thing I think, but the idea has been done elsewhere under different names.
