This is a rant.
I've been a Windows man all my life, and have used versions as old as 2.03. I've seen it develop to 3.11, 95, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, and now Windows 7.
And all I can say about Windows 7 is that it is a massive rip off of Mac OS X. Back at my old apartment, I had 3 Windows Laptops, 3 Windows Desktops, 1 Linux Desktop, 1 DOS / Windows 3.11 Desktop for nostalgic reasons.
I also had 1 Mac 12" iBook. I loved it. I used it for most of my personal computing uses, web browsing, email, etc. I'm still using it now to write this post. I use my powerhouse PC for number crunching ([email protected]), multi-media, and gaming.
But that iBook showed me what an OS is supposed to be like. Intuitive. Easy to use. It makes sense.
And Windows 7 has just stolen every good idea Mac OS X had as is selling it for themselves! The new window behavior. The dock. The use of administrative password to run certain applications and tasks. The behavior of the task bar. The rotating backgrounds. It's just Mac Mac Mac Mac Mac.
I can't believe there weren't lawsuits.
