View Full Version : Where will you be May 22?

Le Libérer
20th May 2011, 13:25
If you havent heard, the Rapture of the church has been predicted (http://judgementday2011.com/) to happen May 21 (tomorrow).
To quote:

May 21st Judgement Day is going to be the decisive day when Jesus returns for the Rapture. True believers will be brought to Heaven, and that will be the End of The World for the approximately 3,000,000 people will be saved, according to Harold Camping.
May 21st Judgement Day is just the Beginning of the End of Days

The remaining people on earth that are not saved by Jesus in the May 21 Rapture will be sentenced to 5 months of torment under the rule of Jesus during the End of Days. The End Times will cause anarchy, chaos, disasters, and the end of civilization as we know it. Everyone left on earth will be well aware that Jesus is Lord, but savior will not be an option after May 21 Doomsday.
My question is, what will you be doing the next day when the Lords children are taking up into the heavens?

Many have thought of the best place to position themselves for the best looting. Of course churches have the best AV gear if you are in need of some new equipment.

So where will you be and what will you be doing the day after the Rapture?

Just in case you were unsure of the scientific model behind this prediction, heres the break down.

What makes him so sure that this year, this date of May 21 2011, will in fact be the date of the Rapture?

The number 5 equals “atonement”, the number 10 equals “completeness”, and the number 17 equals “heaven”.
Christ hung on the cross on April 1, 33 AD. The time between April 1, 33 AD and April 1, 2011 is 1,978 years.
If 1,978 is multiplied by 365.2422 days (the number of days in a solar year), the result is 722,449.
The time between April 1 and May 21 is 51 days.
51 + 722,449 = 722,500.
(5 × 10 × 17)2 or (atonement × completeness × heaven)2 also equals 722,500.
Thus, Camping concludes that 5 × 10 × 17 is telling us a “story from the time Christ made payment for our sins until we’re completely saved.”

Yes, according to the CDC.... No, really. http://emergency.cdc.gov/socialmedia/zombies_blog.asp

Lastly...

http://www.writeonnewjersey.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Judgment-Day-Billboard1.jpg

According to this billboard, the Bible guarantees that the Rapture will be tomorrow. My only question is considering that they've offered a guarantee, when it doesn't happen, do I get my fuckin' money back?

From an article on the BBC about US atheists holding rapture parties:

An atheist and entrepreneur from North Hampshire, Bart Centre, is enjoying a boost in business for Eternal Earth-bound Pets, which he set up to look after the pets of those who believe they will be raptured. He has more than 250 clients who are paying up to $135 (£83) to have their pets picked up and cared for after the rapture.
They would be disappointed twice, he told the Wall Street Journal. "Once because they weren't raptured and again because I don't do refunds."

 Perhaps he is taking advantage of their stupid beliefs, but the idea still made me laugh.

You misunderstand! The actual end of the world won't happen until several months later - it's just that on the day of the rapture, the true believers will be saved.

So presumably that won't have much effect on the title race in Turkey, but could have deep ramifications on the opening stages of next season's Champions league.

It does make me feel better though as I did the food shopping for the next two weeks yesterday, and wouldn't want it all to go to waste.

Funny thing is my friend has been planning a party for a while now for this weekend and then all of a sudden he heard about this and made it into a "end of the world" party, therefore making it way cooler. Now a lot more people are coming, which means more beer and more weed. Funny how people will find any reason to party. If it's an "end of the world" party that also means it's going to be like a giant orgy right?

Made me remember too, the anti-christ was the General-Secretary of the UN using it as NWO tool, and he was from Romania (commie). No, I think the October date was always there- that's the actual "end" days, what he miscalculated according to him was the rapture itself.

Spanish billboards interestingly were the only ones to distinguish that:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_2A-qlRxWvQc/TMOOIsLAWBI/AAAAAAAAAR8/W4QrAEMeAKs/s1600/Misc+056.jpg

His "update" is that the "physical rapture" will coincide with the end of the world. We'll just laugh at him harder then.
