Yeah, Lowkey is the British left's favourite rapper these days. Unfortunately, this song is little more than juveline liberal anti-Americanism with a bit of radical rhetoric thrown in.

There was, of course, a time when leftists actually demanded, not derided, the abundance of basic things like food, and refused to self-righteously dismiss entire populations as "lumpen" shopaholics.

Lowkey was better when he was with Poisonous Poets. there were better MCs in that group too, Lowkey just appeals "radicals" with his half-baked politics (tbf, Doc Brown got abit of a buzz few years back, but i hear hes doing comedy now LOL).
