The Libertarian Party UK has been deregistered (with the Electoral Commission) in the UK and they are considering calling the police in to investigate personal use of party funds by the treasurer Andrew Withers.

...I've never even heard of this party...

But yeah, if this Andrew Withers guy wants to spend the £23 of party funds they've managed to get from their tens of members, he can, see if I care :lol:

They were a tiny party anyway, it had only been around 2 or 3 years and the overwhelming majority of the country were probably unaware of their existance

Think of the US Libertarian Party but with a more openly militarist and imperialist foreign policy.*

* Many 'libertarians' in the US tend to be rather isolationist and opposed to NATO/UN membership, not the LPUK.

No-one else think it ironic that libertarians are calling the state to investigate the crime of non-consensual appropriation of property for private ends.
