The reactionary chunk of shit is at it again. http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/121956273.html
Seriously how does it hurt anyone allowing gay people to visit their partners in the hospital? This guy is a neanderthal and needs to go one way or another. His anti-union stuff was shameful enough. Hopefully he can be recalled or has a stroke or something.

Well, this news hardly comes as a surprise. Do not worry, though. We in Wisconsin will do everything we can to recall Walker and at least eight of his goon senators. If we fail, we can say 'goodbye' to our state's progressive tradition.
its sad that the best we can muster is some recall elections

Isn't this something that is fairly common practice in the U.S., that people aren't allowed to visit people close to them? Why are those visiting policies so restrictive in general to begin with? Walker is scum.

How did such a reactionary ever get elected in Wisconsin? I can see Texas or Alabama, but Wisconsin tends to be one of the more progressive states.

He's a coward trying to create scapegoats during this economic crisis. It's just one more "ace" up his reactionary sleeve. :crying:

It looks like he's just trying to do as much damage as he can before he gets his ass kicked out. I heard just recently that a committee was discussing a Arizona style illegal immigration bill and that if said bill was to make it to the assembly and passed that Walker would be very happy to sign it.

Yeah found a source. http://hngwiusa.wordpress.com/2011/05/24/pridemore-wisconsin-state-legislator-introduced-similar-arizona-immigration-bill/
The most ironic part:
On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported that spokesmen for Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald and Governor Walker said that Pridemore’s immigration bill is a low priority and legislators will eventually discuss the bill in the near future. GOP leaders and Governor Walker are focusing on the budget and jobs creations for now.
Rest assured, Walker is focusing on the budget and job creation while giving tax breaks to his friends, trying to pass draconian immigration bills, passing draconian anti-union legislation, and trying to make it so that you can't have the same rights as a straight couple if you're not straight. Obviously he's focusing on trying to help the working class with jobs and sustaining services for us.

Heh, I remember in the upswing of the Wisconsin protests we used to get adverts from the adsense saying "Stand with Walker!". I'd imagine much of the same people that was catered to are applauding his move to "stand up to Obama's radical socialist agenda", "social engineering", and the "gay agenda"
