It's always acceptable because who in their right mind is going to visit the last ten minutes of someone's life to decide if a cigarette behind their ear is 'appropriate' or not, I mean ffs, who cares? I don't keep any cigs behind my ear ever but I have a problem with people scrutinizing these nuances of human actions.

I've never seen anyone in person with anything but a joint(or spliff) behind their ear. I never put anything besides joints behind my ear, but I don't smoke tobacco. Don't understand the point. Seems like ind of a cosmetic/fashion thing to do..

I usually only do it, if I have a cigarette, but something prevents me from smoking it immediately so I just stick it there for a minute. It doesn't work as a well with lit cigarettes.

yes its acceptable. even with a machine rolled one. if you have no where to put it and you are saving it or are busy than store it however the fuck you want.

i dont do it because i have glasses (therefore they smokes fall out) and i tried to do it between my temple and the glasses but its so uncomfortable and i feel like im goign to ruin the cig.
