Hey everybody

The Documentary posted in the link below was recommended to me by a friend. Seeing it made me very concerned, as it partially confirmed some of my views, and added to my feeling of growing horror.

After I watched this, I thought: how the hell can people not want to do something about this? And I couldn't help but think that after the final collapse described here, there will be anarchy, but people won't be prepared for it. The example of Cuba shown illustrates what people can do to overcome an oil crisis for a short period of time, but I think that maybe people should realise that governments really got us into this mess....and i think it's fair to say, the main consumers of oil are the USA and the China. Not pointing any fingers, but their state capitalism is also focused a lot on in the case of USA consumation and in China on production of goods.

It really hit me that a eco-communist-revolution should happen...it may sound weird, but in what other way can we survive if we don't share out our resources evenly and use them in a regenative and sustainable way? Admitteldly, the guy being interviewed sometimes sees stuff a bit narrow....but he really has a point. So maybe on a wholly different level, there is a struggle going on against exploitants (corporations, governments) killing out planet....I mean, we can do all the eco living and communal sharing on a small scale as we want to, if the THINKING OF THE PEOPLE don't change, and if the big industrial nations keep wasting unsustainable means of production sources, if nobody is willing to help build rescueboats....then, my fellow leftists, we have a problem. Mabye not now, but certainly within the next 50 years...

What do you think? Anybody have an opinion on this? What are your ideas on this?

ps/ should have posted this in science and evironment. sorry bout that :)
