In Capitalist Societies even those that have a Progressive Income Tax have no salary/wage cap on how much one can earn or be paid in my opinion it is wrong for a CEO to earn Millions some earn Billions each year while the Workers have low wages what would Socialism do about Income Inequality that does in fact exist under Capitalism Im not talking about how much these CEO's pay in taxes Im saying it is unfair for them to be making/earning so much money I know Professional Sports have salary/wage caps ?

I don't think there should be a state wage cap, I think compensation should be decided one man one vote, i.e. one worker one vote, if the company values that CEO THAT much, then fine.

I german system where half the board of directors are union reps is a good start.

I think pre-revolution and during the phase transition it should be decided, as Gacky said, democratically by the worker-owners; sort of in the way worker co-ops operate.
But post-revolution wages will be largely irrelevant as access to production will be open to all.

Yes, it is wrong they make so much. I often think as long as we HAVE to have capitalism at all a good idea would be a maximum wage - where the top paid person couldn't make more than 20 times (for example) what the lowest paid full time person makes. This would include the owners - any profit over that would be taxed at 100%. That way if they wanted to make more they'd have to pay their employees more.

No, it isn't.

what would Socialism do about Income Inequality

They would say a great deal, wrecj the economy and declare victory.

No. Teams have caps on how much they can pay in salary per year for all the players combined. Salaries are figured within those limits. But individual salaries are not capped.

You mean like how the current recession was caused by too much government spending right?

A salary cap is truly insulting. The problems with the US economy are far and out reaching but government limiting how much a person can earn is truly mind bogglingly insane.
