Hello, new to the forum.
So far I'm really impressed, never knew there were so many people that shared the same beliefs. Very cool.

By any chance could someone answer why my posts need to be moderated though?

Welcome to RL, as for your question, are you asking why we have moderators? It's an internet forum, it needs them. The mods maintain the site - move posts to the right forum, give infractions for trolling and using banned info (sharing personal details and pictures, etc.) and stuff like that. If that's not what you meant then sorry, I don't know.

Welcome! Your first ten posts have to be approved. Then you need another fifteen just to post links. We attract lots of trolls.

Trolls are the reason for 10 mod approved posts. After that, they won't need approval.

Haha, yeah, I was very suprised.
What's funny is that's normally the username I use on forums so it worked out.
I understand about the troll issue though, that's probably a big issue considering a bunch of cappies probably get mad.
