If this goes on, comrades. I expect the U.K to light up in full scale rioting. I hope the Scottish get their independence before this happens for the sake of the poor!
Class war being waged on a scale not seen before. Action is the only way to go from now on, not bloody more marches.

A Tory poster from the May 2010 general election:

Just like their Lib-Dem allies did with student tuition fees, these wankers based their election campaign on outright lies.

Hopefully the old saying that things have to get worse before they get better proves true.
Any movements going on right now to oppose this?

I also think that that prediction is not unrealistic. A lot of tories even support nationalised healthcare, and I can't imagine the Lib Dems would completely throw-out their party manifesto. I guess it was just a comment from an 'adviser' so it may not mean anything.

They already have.
The only thing the Lib-Dems were offered by the Tories was that AV referendum and they lost that on account of most voters hating the Lib-Dems for selling out to the Tories on all their other policies.
I guess it was just a comment from an 'adviser' so it may not mean anything.
Sadly it does mean something.
Although this coalition government is weaker than past bourgeois governments, it is still very determined to privatise as much as it possibly can and get away with.

The Scottish (and Welsh) are protected against this because health is a devolved matter. I did think when I first read about this guy's comments this really should make it clear to people what the agenda is here - and if the agenda is clear then big protests (and possibly riots) will follow. This should be like the poll tax for this government, it's even worse than the poll tax.
I hope it's not too early in the government, too technical and remote, or we have become too apathetic. :(

Looks like the tories are facing a lib-dem revolt over the NHS, landsley looks likely to be booted over this, Cameron knows his position is precarious, the lib-dem back benchers are already pretty pissed over the coalition, I doubt they'll be willing to sacrifice there ideology much more now that AV has failed (remeber that the refurendum was one of the big concesions the lib-dems got out of the tories).

I worry that the days of free healthcare in the UK are numbered. I only hope that should we lose it, it would at least wake people up the nature of the ruling class. There's no real voice for the opposition or calls to resist in UK mainstream media, so the protest road is probably the one we'll have to go down at the moment.
