Hello comrades,

Is anyone here a member of CPUSA? I recently joined CPUSA/YCL and got my membership packets in the mail. However, I CANNOT contact any member sin my area! The YCL sent me a name to contact and I have repeatedly written this person e-mails and gotten no response. I am in Michigan so I tried contacting the metro Detroit club and no response. I tried calling them and their voice mail box is full! I even e-mailed the national office and have gotten nothing. This is really getting frustrating!

Email the People's World Weekly, their newspaper media organ. They are pretty good at responding to emails and very courteous and helpful too.

Will the Communist party let you join for free? I have no money to give, but I feel obligated to join a left party in the name of moral support. I am active at work and discuss a lot of leftist positions with my friends and neighbors.

Thanks.
for a student to join it is only 6 dollars a year. YCL is only 2 dollars.

This is the way that smaller parties are - without a large paid staff to handle calls and that sort of thing. It takes a longer time to get things done... don't get too frustrated.
