The Transitions Program at Mt. Hood Community College has established an application pool to accept applications for possible openings for Counselor/Coordinators to fill positions in the event of a potential strike.

They might not be striking right now, but the bosses are certainly planning to be prepared with a pack of on-call scabs.

Apart from that...the concept is horrible as it is obvious in its intend. Seeing as the jobs could be possibly fulltime this is an open threat of firing striking employees. Not only undermining their income but also their right to do something about it and trying to break their willingness to strike. Its blatant blackmail.


Anyways...I spend a few minutes flagging everything as spam from three different IPs. :-) won't do any good, but really do not see it hurting either. I think I'll sign up for each and everyone tomorrow...trying to fuck up their system. Lets spam the shit out of them.

Disgusting. I would sooner die than be a scab. It ought to be illegal to work a job to substitute for workers on strike. Wouldn't be necessary if Capitalism itself was illegal but as long as it's here this would be a good idea.

The likelihood being basically zero. I talked to a member of the facility today I had never meet - he told me that strikes are bad, and that it would hurt the school and the students.
