theres a song stuck in my head
and i dont know what it is called!
the first time i heard it, it was over the radio at work. its almost always godawful top of the charts type music but this one song. im sure its one of them chart toppers but... i reallllly liked this one and now i need help.
ok, so the only lyrics i remember are something about
it starts off with a stringed instrument doing a slow tremolo and then it changes pitch before it picks up.
"the golden age is over, run for your mother run for your father"
or something like that.
thats not the way it all goes but those are some of the words.
now, its pretty "indie" sounding by the way id judge it. sung by a woman with a powerful voice. not high pitched though. and it ends with drums going bumbum bum bumbum bum bumbum with like a tamborine or something.
now, i dont know the indie rock genre very well at all so i couldnt think of anything that might closely resemble it.
if you know of any possible matches, i will rep you like 10 times.
