Hello, I'm making an introduction as suggested in my welcome to revleft message. I found this site a few days ago and was just reading it but there's a question here I might have to answer (I'm hopeful someone educated will come along and say what I think so I wont have to) so I made an account.

- Where are you from, whats the leftist scene there like?
NE England, not very apparent but I'm only becoming active now as I believed that stuff about being a communist at twenty but growing out of it by forty. that didn't happen.
- What branch of leftism do you subscribe to?
I'm unclear which is why I'm reading this site. I definitely think that the means of production should be held by the people for the people and that the capitalists wont let that happen without an upheaval so I suppose revolutionary communist of some kind.
- How did you become a leftist?
It seems like common sense that if the profit bit of the price of stuff could be eliminated there'd be a lot more stuff to go round, I agreed with that when I read the manifesto when young. Also just general unease when I watch the news and read books. Like I've always enjoyed reading about gangsters but lately it's less good as they often have a chapter about the people trafficking arm of international capitalism, it's shocking stuff. So bourgois sentimentality perhaps makes me a leftist.
