on my way back from denver , to los angeles... as we passed through Las Vegas, there were 2 fighter jets in the air, and 8 military helicopters circling the city. Their national gaurd base also looked "extra packed" with urban military vehical equipment. Once we got to California, the military base near Barstow was being loaded with tanks being shipped in by a train. We saw about 10 tanks on the train being unloaded onto the base. We thought this was all, until we saw tons of other tanks and hummers that had already been previously unloaded. There must have been over 100 tanks, hummers, and other military equipment mobalizing that I couldn't identify. They were filling up this entire area with tanks, and other URBAN military vehical equipment. Why are they building up a ground force? And why in California? Why do they have HUMMERS? Why the urban military equipment? What are they planning to do? Perhaps getting ready to wage a ground war overseas, or deploy the tanks, and hummers out here in California since that's where they were being shipped to? But why? Do they know something we don't? If so, what are they hiding? Why are they mobalizing their death machines in deserts of California? Perhaps they're getting prepared to deploy this on our streets, as they trigger off "jihad" (holy war) with the Taliban, which would most likely bring more "terrorist attacks" on U.S soil. Bush did declare a "war on Terrorism", an unknown enemy, and in order for a war to continue on an "unknown enemy", the terrorism has to continue.
It looks like they were preparing for war, a ground war. A war waged against an "unknown enemy", to sacrafice civil liberties by using an excuse to overwhelm state repression into a new world order.
