Jeremy Scahill, an excellent independent progressive journalist takes him to school, reminding him that he sounds like a Bush-lite hawk.

What a pounding Schultz takes!

Scahill totally crushes Obama and Schultz's position.

Listen to Schultz and his Reagan-BushII position, sounding like the right wingers he hates so much. "I have faith in the President". He has faith? Sounds exactly like the unquestioning support of President Bush during Iraq War and the unquestioning support right wingers gave to Reagan when arming the Contras in Nicaragua.

American jingoism - liberal style.

We should all take comfort in that this is the best America has to offer as far as the rational, moral voice in the political realm. They are just as full as empty idealism and lofty rhetoric as their right wing counterparts.

They both rely on the same set of jingoistic presuppositions to win their arguments for them and they both shut out logical complaints such as what Scahill was talking about.

How was that any different than what O'Reilly does?
