View Full Version : They Kept Bin Laden Alive For Ten Minutes Before Shooting Him

Ten minutes, huh? Do you wonder what Bin Laden said to his captors?

Apparently his last words were, "Whether you're king or a street sweeper, we all have a date with the old grim reaper."

What? To have a cup of tea and a chat about the weather?

So then it was an assassination mission. They executed him. Illegal under both US and international law.

Plz, provide more sources.

Pretty sure the Grim Reaper from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey said that also.

The US media said his last words were, "I am not him". Whatever the fuck that means.

He's dead. The question should be raised as to the manner in which he was killed and legality of the mission.

Americans should self reflect on just how brutal their own government can be when enacting revenge.

Apparently there wasn't even a fight either. They just went to his house and killed him.

Probably "I am not him, by whom I mean Osama bin Laden, whom you intend to kill at the first given chance - therefore, it would be preferable for all parties involved if you do not shoot my brain until it is shattered into sixty equally useless pieces. Please reconsider your current course of action."

Are you sure you live in the U.S. comrade? If so I think you'd know that people here pretty much don't care if Osama was killed legally or not. In fact I'd be rather surprised if people weren't happy if he was brutally tortured then killed. I think people are actually disappointed that he was just shot in the head as the story goes. They would much rather have the Mussolini treatment, parading his body through the streets for us to spit on and throw rocks at.

I can't agree with this more. Slowly but surely it's changing for the worst. This is a decent article summarising events: click here (http://thesovetski.blogspot.com/2011/05/bin-laden-vs-thesovetski-analysing.html)!

Well there is a difference in what Americans are doing and what Americans should be doing.

Americans should've reflected on US foreign policy but instead bombed the hell out of Afghanistan.

The point is that the US engaged in an illegal raid and assassinated an unarmed person.

It violated international law and care not Pakistan's national sovereignty.

This is going by their own standards too.

Instead of reflecting on the rogue ways of the US government, the most "tolerant", "rational" and "intelligent" of Americans in the political establishment (the liberals) are cheering like jingoistic right wingers.

Hell, you can't be surprised by any of that though.

It's not like it's the first time the U.S. has violated Pakistani national sovereignty though, is it? Drones... blowing up civilians here and there... and not just in Pakistan, by which my point is that it is exactly the sort of action that was expected. Why would they not go in and arbitrarily assassinate him? Has the U.S. ever had respect for international law, and has international law any meaning apart from being a subjective sticky web that every now and then is used by stronger nations to force weaker nations to comply, or at least try to? We all know their own standards mean nothing in practice and that the elitist liberals that are now in jingoistic ecstasy are two-faced hacks anyway.

Give me a break, we are such hypocrites. The bourgeoisie gives fuck all about international law and so should the proletariat. The workers will break laws as well... unless your not down with revolution because you want to follow the laws of the bourgeoisie
