We all know what october seventh is.....the anniversary of che's death. I dont think what we should do is have a moment of silence like that 9/11 bullshit. I dont think che would like us to cry about it, i think he'd want us to do somthing about it....wear a che shirt, pass out flyers....make posters...fly the che flag on your school's flagpole....i think we should do somthing very big, and very public so people know why che was murdered and who did it: U$

so do you guys have any realistic goals or suggestions on how to make this day more productive?

wear the shirt anyway. get kicked out. fuck them. try this if they give you any shit. tell them- 'Bush passed a bill giving private schools federal money through vouchers, that means that all private schools now have to follow the CONSTITUTION and give students THEIR RIGHTS' this isn't true YET, though it might be soon, you can at least make a big deal, and create more awareness.

by the way if your school does get money from vouchers, they can't make you take off the shirt and they can't do any thing about it. find out. very few schools do so far, but yours might be one.

I really want to fly my Che flag at my school. I don&#39;t know if they&#39;ll let me though, i think the flags have this stupid lock thing on the cable but i&#39;ll take a look at it..theres still over a week in which i can prepare. I&#39;d bet it would get me in deep shit at school. My dad keeps warning me about this kinda stuff, that it may get me in trouble, or hurt etc etc. I sorta agree, but I don&#39;t care. I think it&#39;s worth it to pay homage.

Update: Wounded and captured on the 8th , executed on the 9th, his death certificate was signed and issued on the 10th. So by comparison the 7th was a pretty chill day for Che. Probably got laid, drank some Yerba Mate - chilled with his homies and smoked cigars.

I got my english teacher a Che flag for her birthday&#33; She hung it up in the classroom&#33; I thinkt he spray paint idea is an interesting one. I&#39;m considering doing it, but i live in a small town, and it wouldn&#39;t be hard to narrow it down to me and my friends...oh well, it&#39;s worth a shot&#33; I also want to hang my Che flag at school where everyone can see it, and maybe get them to say something on the P.A. system. Then announce birthdays, and other things like that, why not tell the students about che? so does anyone know if its true about the camara&#39;s on the traffic lights? also is it possible to get finned for putting up flyers and stuff on like light posts and stuff? not that it really matters i just wanna make sure. My sister and i got a red flat sheet and spray painted "Viva el CHE&#33; 10.09.67" and were gonna put it up in a park, that is on the corner of the intersection of the two busiest streets in our town, main & broadway, hopefully they don&#39;t take it down, although im pretty sure they are, i just hope enough people get to see it. You don&#39;t "see" if they&#39;ll let you fly the flag. I&#39;d walk into one of my classes and I knew that the teacher was a head-strong cappie, so I would erase what was on her little mini-chalk board and write different quotes that acutally have meaning and whatnot that would cover the whole board somedays. She&#39;d always try to tell me to stop or whatever and I even got sent to the principal on occassion for it, then I&#39;d ask him, "where&#39;s my weed at?"...most of the time the quote stayed on the board...at least til I left the class. I didn&#39;t care though. I just did it. I&#39;d talk shit to the teachers about how capitalism&#39;s wrong and whatnot when they&#39;d start shooting off their mouths about how Fidel this, Cuba that, &c. Don&#39;t ask, just do it. It&#39;s supposed to be a spontaneous expression of your views and opinions...not what they&#39;ll "let" you do. Phew&#33; Man, I raised some hell in HS&#33;
