The neo-Nazi American National Socialist Movement will be having a protest at the US Cellular Arena on May 14th at 5 pm. Here is the link to their flier for it: http://www.nsm88.org/announcements/r...on%20flyer.pdf (http://www.anonym.to/?http://www.nsm88.org/announcements/roller%20derby%20protest%20distribution%20flyer.pd f)

I think it would be good if we could get some people out for a counter-protest. Anyone on board?

What are they protesting against?

They're protesting communism basically. A roller derby team has the hammer and sickle on their uniform and they want to protest that because "communism killed over 100 million people".

If you go to their flier it explains it. They are angry because a roller-derby team (jokingly) uses communist names and symbols. To me, the subject they are protesting is not the point. The point is to not let them freely spread their hate and ignorance without anyone being there to counter them.

Nazis protesting something because they claim it caused mass murder? Something about that falls flat with me...

Never let fascists have the streets. When we ignore them, they think it's a concession on our part. They'll get cocky. One day, it's a rally. The next, an interracial couple or an immigrant is violently assaulted. The month after, homosexual and transgendered individuals start coming up viciously murdered, like they did in New Orleans. I know that I'd be up there in a heartbeat if I could, at the fucking vanguard of the counter-action.

I could probably make it. I'm about 3 hours south of Madison. Although, I ain't going without backup.

I'm trying to get other people there and I'm asking my parents tonight if I can do it. I can't say with any certainty how many people will show up to counter-protest but I'm trying to spread the word as much as possible. You should definitely come out.

If nobody goes because no one else is going, then you will end up with thousand of POTENTIAL counter-protesters all at home. I advice all leftists who live near the place to show up.

Good luck comrades. :thumbup1:

Agreed. Even if I'll be the only one I'm still going to go if I'm able too.

Turns out I can go, so it will be happening and you won't be alone.

I don't really think they're "fascists"; they're cartoon characters with a Nazi fetish.

They still have a fascist agenda.

I have a pretty strong feeling that literally nobody other than us will care about this.

Is this even anywhere near a residential area? Is anything going on near where they're having their dumb party?
