Hello dear comrades. I'm not active in your forum nor read it frequently. But a recent new in my country made me come here.
I'm from Turkey and most of you should already be aware of the fascist actions made by our government. Recently the government is planning on new laws for the internet at 22th of August. The users would be forced to chose between 4 internet filters(seperated as "standard", children, family etc). It will be illegal to use evading techniques against the censorship, such as using a proxy or a custom DNS server. You can read an English article about this here:
bianet.org/english/freedom-of-expression/129364-internet-filter-opposes-fundamental-rights-and-freedoms
This is totally not acceptable. Not only by revolutionary leftists, but by the other groups and people also.
What I am asking you, is what can I do about this? How can we organize massively and take action against this censorship? In order to make this action massive, I'm aware that it should not contain ideologic symbols. Can we make some mail groups, open a forum or anything similar?
Thank you!

Ah, I don't really see them so active. I think what we need here is a "temporary", nameless and leaderless organisation aimed only against this incident. It would be much easier like this, isn't it?

Are you speaking for a group or as an induvidual in your country?
In any case try to contact existing groups who are active on the subject and find out if they are planning anything and what they are planning and if you (and your group could join and help).
If you want to stage your own initiative and you want this to be broad you should ask yourself what you want to do, when you want to do it, what the message is you want to send....and what the laws are you need to either respect (permits etc) or know the consequences of violating. Then you also contact existing groups to see if they want to help you accomplish this and participate. It may be useful to try and get a meeting with existing groups to come to a coordinated effort to create an event together. Make sure you have concrete ideas but keep options open for input from other parties.
You can advertise your events through social networks (facebook; youtube; forums) in general, recruit sympathisers in your own network and ask them to do the same...and if possible through the existing networks of groups who participate. Send out invites to groups and parties who you think will support your event and message.
Then you contact the media and see if hey want to do a pre-event story; or place and advertisement (if you have budget). Ge as much attention any way you know how for your event.
If you need permits get them. Perhaps there maybe some coordination involved with authorities. Consider if you want to be the one to do this or if there are people who have experience with that.
If you want your event to be spontanious (which may violate laws and have conseqeunces) then obviously you do not need to do so...but that may have consequences for getting existing organisations involved unless they are used to operate outside the laws.
These are some suggestions. I hope they are usefull. I do not know the situation in Turkey very well nor do I have any experience in oranising events there.

true and I'm definitely in favour of that style of organization but it might be worth trying to contact any reminisce of that party as they are in your country and will share the same goal they might be a good place to start gathering some support.
Good Luck!
