Hey, my name's Tim, I'm 17 (student in the UK). Been a "leftist" of some description pretty much as long as I've understood politics, coming from a vaguely socialist upbringing.
Currently would describe myself as tending towards anarcho-communism, only really started out properly reading and getting into the finer details in the past 6 months or so. Read some Marx, Engels and Lenin so far, nothing special.
Basically I have a large selection of left-leaning friends (perhaps I tend to choose them) in varying degrees (from anarchist to revolutionary socialist to democratic). Recently we organised school trips to the London protests (with the local union also), the "March for the Alternative" and the earlier tuition fees demonstration.
Yeah, stuff like that - I look forward to learning more and hopefully participating here in the future :)
