Culture/identity as many of the May Day protestors are there because of immigrant rights more than workers rights. Its been a pro-amnesty/ pro-working class rally for a few years so you'll see a lot of people with their home nations flag. Oh and the Tea Party came to the New York rally and they put up an Arizona flag that said bite me along with some American flags. They didn't say a word and had about 10 cops protecting 16 protestors. I think that part made my day :laugh:.
