Like, what countries is it in and why? What's the given reason and what's the real reason.

Iraq and Afghanistan, and naturally Palestine through their client state of Israel. The given reason is "war on terror" (and in the case of Iraq, weapons of mass destruction in particular). The real reason is imperialism - they want to expand their sphere of influence in the Middle East through puppet regimes (a part of the reason being the oil that the countries, esp. Iraq possess) and since it's so easy to demonise Islam and the people living there, the region is a prime target.

The most prominent wars currently going on (there's always some other wars like "drug wars" in Colombia and stuff which we are involved in), are Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. Iraq was originally to get rid of WMDs, then to "build democracy", but really it was always about getting oil and toppling Saddam, a puppet who had started giving us problems. Afghanistan was about revenge for 9/11 (and that's even the reason they gave). Libya is about "humanitarian intervention" to protect civilians, but really about oil.

Exactly. So what if we take some oil and bomb some innocent poor civilians in the process. No big deal. We got make sacrifices to stop those extremists.

But seriously, with Iraq, it started with "confirmed" WMDs found in the country which ended up not really being there. Then it went to toppling Hussein's "evil dictatorship." Once that was over, it become clear that it was for oil and for expanding American influence in the Middle East (i.e. imperialism). Although many say that it's to stop has Al-Qaeda. Which has what 10 people in it?

Eh, I might be lynched for saying this but at least in Libya isn't the US, technically the UN, doing the right thing even if it is for the wrong reasons?
