Excellent video, I must say. A bit on the conspiratorial side, but a good collection of information, none the less.
The rebels are way more reactionary than I thought!

Not really. There's a difference between crazy conspiracy theories like 9/11 false flag, and what's grounded in reality and history.

Well it's just that the video uses some right wing sources like Washington Times. I know they went legit after ditching Moon but still.
The other video about social media the creator made is really conspiratorial.

Thanks. Handy bit of film that, pity about the psycho music. The only conspiratorial side I noticed was the CIA and there Libyan stooges. The Capitalist press exposure of all this has been more prompt than in other wars. I think that is down to some deep misgivings among the ruling class about the wisdom of this particular bit of warmongering. Not enough build-up for the ‘public’ to soak up maybe?

I think there's a few things. Claims such as massacres against the people are harder to fabricate than WMDs, simply because they are easily verifiable. Also, the "War on Terrorism" scare hasn't worn off yet, so people are still reluctant to help Al Qaeda. Finally, the increased availability of news on the internet makes it easier to find media outlets that debunk the mainstream version of events.

The thing is, it’s worth keeping an eye on the divisions within imperialism and the ‘official’ media over this. It is not that they are against the wars as such, but even with China’s revisionist abstention (which could do with a debate all on its own) the Germans refused to take part at all.
There has been constant bickering between the big powers about how things should be done and who should do what.
In these conditions much of the media are being carful, getting ready to blame someone if thing go badly for imperialism as they well might. They are getting ready to point the finger, retain ‘journalistic credibility’ of sorts to keep themselves in the game.
Of course none of this will affect the overall drive towards more war mayhem as imperialism’s only ‘answer’ or ‘solution’ to the worst overproduction economic crisis ever and looking terminal. China’s ‘peaceful coexistence’ line and any others stupid enough to join in imperialist “condemnations” should understand that they will be in the cross hairs soon enough unless they restart their fight for international proletarian dictatorship.
