I might agree that the NOI was the black KKK to a certain extent, they certainly weren't going around lynching white people around Harlem. As far as his religion, if it wasn't there you would have never has Malcolm and he kept his religion rather personal, his speeches aren't laced with Allah this and Koran that and he did that for a reason so people wouldn't be turned off at the message. The message wasn't religious it was social. And his nationalism I don't think was necessarily a bad thing what he advocated with it socially, politically and economically are things that should still be done today, but, nevertheless he did lose much of it later in his life.

I don't know how Malcom entered this discussion, but I will say this. Malcom in the last two years of his life stressed that working class unity was a necessity. However, he acknowledged that there could be no unity among poor blacks and poor whites until blacks established some semblance of unity amongst themselves.

Anyone who believes that Malcom was of the "black KKK" is only looking at the first part of his political life. Towards the end of his life he spoke a great deal about working class unity and racism as an offshoot of classism. This is why Hoover's boys killed him. Anyone who believes differently is either a victim of their own non-researched ignorance or a victim of what they have been taught in Amerikkkan public schools.

BTW, I'm white and I still idolize Brother Minister Malcom X.

Most of the members here are actively involved in educating people, when they get the chance. Malcom was only populair because of his black, nationalistic propaganda. That was the Malcom that the public loved, hated and knew. Not the sort of Malcom that he was at the end of his life. The public knew him as the person who reffered every to every "negro" working with "whites" as an "Uncle Tom".

What I am really pointing at is that before he could really make his points of view clear to the public and convince them, he was shot. So that&#39;s not the Malcom that the public got to know.

I read a small biography about him, just 250 pages. At the moment I don&#39;t have the need to study on a religious nationalist. Maybe later.

There is alot of things that have to be address with talking about brother Malcolm x. See Malcolm didn&#39;t realize intell the last couple of weeks before he died that it wasn&#39;t the Nation of Islam that was trying to kill him but the U.S. Government. What I say is this, outline a plan for these programs, research the costs it would take to create them, and get back to everyone here about that. You yourself said that we need to take action in some way. Well, figure this out for us and I, for one, will definitely contribute to that. But, I won&#39;t contribute to simple talk about things. I&#39;d like to see a well thought out plan that involves research into the situation. If you can do that for me I know that I&#39;ll support you. If you can do that, I&#39;m guaranteeing that several people here will support you as well.
