I have been working in a warehouse for a while now, but i am just freaking bored to death with it, plus my boss really suck ass, so i have been looking for something else.

I found an ads about a factory looking for a metal press operator, no real skill needed for the job and its relatively well paid, plus its next to my appartement.

i am sortof used to do repetitive work, and the prospect of finally creating something, even if its only hinge or doorknobt sound more rewarding than invoicing fucking computer part.

Should i take the job, or not?

Slightly better, 1 more dollar an hour.

I think eventually you'll grow to hate factory work as well being that it's mind numbingly dull, hot, smelly and occasionally dangerous. But if all you're after is a change of scenery as it were, by all means do it. Hell, they might even have a union you can flex your entryist muscles in, lol.

If you hate warehouse work for boredom you should try a call centre (not really).

I would do crazy shit to get another 'warehouse' job. Just moving stuff around and not having to deal with dozy, ignorant disrespectful callers.

I worked in both. Like warehouses better, even grew to like my current job (which is also in a warehouse). I guess it just depends on coleagues and the kind of warehouse. The same cant be said about a factory, since you barely have contact with colleagues there.
Edit: tho metal press operator sounds pretty cool admittedly.

I would do crazy shit to get another 'warehouse' job. Just moving stuff around and not having to deal with dozy, ignorant disrespectful callers. I worked as a "volunteer" (after having been given the choice between "volunteering" or having my dole stopped) at this place which was a warehouse shop/charity. My job was to, depending on who else was there and the whims of the managers (one of whom was quite predictably a total cock. The other two were just normal manager level of wanker): sit at the phone/till dealing with customers face-to-face or on the phone, some of whom could be total cretins, or lug all sorts of heavy shit about the place. It was like a shit sandwhich of the worst aspects of both jobs but if given the choice I'd be all up for doing nothing but heavy lifting, dealing with the public is a total fuckfest.
